We believe our youth are not the church of tomorrow, rather they are the church of today.  We seek to integrate Junior High and Senior High into the life of the church, forming real relationships between students and adults, and encouraging lifelong commitments to a Christian lifestyle.

Sunday Night Live (Youth Group)

Led by our Director of Youth Ministries, Adam Bridges (adam@medwaycc.org), our Junior and Senior High youth groups are dynamic, energetic, and tons of fun. Between the two groups, a large number of students participate each Sunday evening in a high energy environment that unabashedly proclaims Christ is King.

Games, music, and teaching time are part of a typical Sunday evening. In addition, we offer weekend retreats each year and lots of monthly outings to keep our youth in forward motion!

Powerhouse (Community Groups)

With a focus on fostering relationships as well as learning, we have built in a system of weekly, small-group opportunities to supplement the big-group Sunday gatherings. Multiple volunteers help to lead JH and SH guys and girls. These groups are designed for deeper study and honest discussion in an environment that is safe and affirming.

Summer Missions Trip

Every year, a team of youth and volunteer leaders work diligently throughout the school year to raise support for their summer missions trip.  Looking to Christ's commission in Acts 1, we offer a three year rotation for these trips:  local, domestic, and international.  Having visited placed like Guatemala, San Francisco, and Jamaica, we have found these trips can be among the most catalytic for spiritual growth in our students.
