Adult Ministries

At MCC, we have a place for you no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.  Curious about the Bible, committed Christ-follower, or somewhere in between?  We offer a wide range of opportunities to help you develop authentic relationships both with others and with God.  Below you'll find  a sampling of what we have available for adults at MCC.

Women's Ministries

Led by our Director of Women's Ministries, Cathy Taylor (cathy@medwaycc.org), we offer opportunities for women to join together for fun, friendship, learning and service.  We have a wide variety of community groups, as well as encouraging groups for moms of littles.  Also keep an eye out for our events and retreats

  • Women's Community Groups:  We have over a dozen groups available with a variety of scheduling options, and groups are open to women of all ages and Biblical understanding.  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
  • Moms in Community (MiC):  MiC is a beautiful blend of encouragement, faith-building, and friendship—designed especially for moms of infants through elementary-aged kids. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 9:30-11am and free childcare is available. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
  • Weekend Retreats and Events:  We have two excellent retreats on the calendar.  Set aside the evening of October 17th for our annual Short, Sweet Retreat at the Franklin Country Club and mark May 8-9th for our 2026 overnight retreat at the Wonderland Conference Center in Sharon.  Our Advent Worship Night is also back for 2025 and is set for December 16th.

Men's Ministries

Led by our associate pastor, Carl Schultz (pastor.carl@icloud.com), our very active Men's Ministry meets regularly for fellowship and teaching times. We presently offer:

  • Quarterly breakfasts, which include lots of bacon
  • Several, active, men's community groups where you can simultaneously form strong friendships and go deeper in your understanding of the Bible
  • An annual men's retreat
  • An annual, all-church, Valentine's Dinner

Drawing on the biblical mandate to care for widows and orphans (James 1:27),  Men’s Ministries also provides assistance within the church and community helping to meet practical household needs.

Young Adults

Led by dedicated volunteers, the MCC Young Adult Ministry is a vibrant group seeking to follow Jesus in community with one another. Here's some of what the Young Adults group does:
  • Weekly Community Group. Regular time of gathering together to study God's Word and spend time with one another.
  • Group Activities. MCC Young Adults has various activities and opportunities to connect with each other.
  • Service Opportunities. The Young Adult group has regular times of serving others in a variety of ways.
